A reliable fire alarm system provides peace of mind that you have the protection of your family, friends and employees at the top of your priorities.
Much like intruder alarms, fire alarms can also be remotely monitored via our partner monitoring stations. Your fire alarm can have it’s own independent monitoring or can be linked through your intruder alarm system.
The Alarm Receiving Centre (monitoring station) will react to any signals sent from your alarm system within seconds, your nominated key holders will be contacted instantly who will then be asked to take responsibility for the alarm activation. In the event of a fire signal being received, depending on the agreement originally made, the monitoring station will immediately inform the emergency services.
THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF MONITORING THAT WE PROVIDE
Digital Communicator by Halifax Security
When your alarm is triggered the Alarm Receiving Centre receives notification via your landline. The only downfall with this type of monitoring is that the telephone line is not monitored therefore if the phone line is cut the ARC will be unaware.
Digi Air by Halifax Security
A DigiAir sends a signal from the protected premises to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via a WorldSIM. This multi-network SIM card can utilise any mobile phone network, offering the best guarantee of radio coverage anywhere in the UK. This offers maximum, reliable performance from its radio path.
Dualcom GPRS by Halifax Security
Like a digital communicator your alarm system is connected to an ARC via your phone line. Dualcom however, continuously polls the monitoring station to check that the phone line and connection is secure, reporting within seconds should there be any interruption to the service. Dualcom also encompasses dual path signalling, it monitors your alarm on your telephone line plus via a mobile phone network. The ARC will respond to signals from both sources and should either path fail there will always be a connection.
Redcare GSM by Halifax Security
Redcare GSM encompasses dual path signalling, it monitors your alarm on your telephone line as above, plus via a mobile phone network. The ARC will respond to signals from both sources and should either path fail there will always be a connection.
